How it became that far...

In 2003, the year that the Dutch princes Amalia was born, there came a big bird flu in the Dutch poultry industry. Around 30 million chicks finds the dead en Errie, working in a hattchery, is not having work anymore.

There is a co-worker moving to Sweden around that time. Errie is having a truck drivers license and thought, I have nothing to do now, so I will drive your furniture to Sweden. Errie helped his co-worker and likes it very well.

When he came home, he put an advertisement online: Mover for rent. After first time the first request come in. With some egg boxes from the hattchery and a (cleaned) chicken truck of his brother it works to make some clients happy.

One of the first request came from a guy who wants to move to New Zealand. Together with the client is Errie searching for the right way to go. And Errie likes that proces very well.

Again with some egg boxes and cardboard from the hattchery Errie will pack and wrap the stuff of the client. In New Zealand there is a good agent who takes care of the customs clearance and delivery. Errie is feeling very well with this.

In this time the poultry world is going further after the bird flu. Errie consulted with the manager and he will work for three days at the hattchery and will focus the rest of the time on his new moving business.

After some time more and more clients are happy with the service. Errie is working hard and an co-worker moving company is helping him.
The business is going that well that he buys his first van. The chicken truck of his brother will have the logo of Hazeleger Verhuisservice as well.
Hazeleger is becoming a household name in the region. Also on emigration sites of New Zealand and Australia is nobody who never heard of Hazeleger.

Errie is hiring a depot in Putten for storage, but also to collect shipments for New Zealand and Australia. After 5 years the depot become too small and the company will move to Nijkerk. Close to the highway and in the middle of the Netherlands, easy choise.

In 2012 becomes his oldest son Patrick working for his dad. The first rays of a family business are visible. 2012 is also the year that the first truck is bought with the beautifull geese. 'Never Move Alone' will be the slogan of the company. Geese are never moving alone, they always fly together. And that is the spirit, always ask help for you move and never start alone!

After more than 20 years of experience Hazeleger can say they are a professional company who never walk away for difficult things. With specializations in emigrations, storage and local moving jobs is the quality very very high.
